2008 Rangel Fellow Marita Lamb and 2018 Fellow Krystin Rodriguez were recently highlighted in the Foreign Service Institute’s monthly newsletter after reconnecting at the 2018 Rangel Fellow’s Meet and Greet at the Harry S. Truman Building. Below is the excerpt from the newsletter.
Rangel Fellows Reception
2017 Orientation summer intern Krystin Rodriguez and Orientation Deputy Coordinator Marita Lamb at the welcome reception for the 2018 Rangel Graduate Fellows. Following a highly competitive nationwide selection process, Krystin received one of 30 Rangel Fellowships, funded by the U.S. Department of State and managed by Howard University, that supports extraordinary individuals interested in pursuing a career as a Foreign Service Officer with the Department of State. Following her 2-year graduate program at American University’s School of International Service, Krystin will join an A-100 class in the summer of 2020. Marita is a 2008 Rangel Fellow.
